DIY Loo roll puppets
There’s something rather satisfying about a craft that involves every day items and knowing you’re recycling at the same time. We used loo roll tubes and string to make our DIY loo roll puppets for one of our live craft sessions on my Facebook page.
Hands down this has been my girls’ favourite craft so far!
Isla made the puppy dog using some leftover wallpaper and Emmie made the unicorn which she wrapped with plain white paper. Aren’t they adorable?!
YOU WILL NEED:
- 2 toilet roll tubes
- String
- 2 lollipop sticks or similar
- Paper/plastic straw, beads or pasta tubes
- Pens/pencils
- Glue
- Scissors
- Optional: googly eyes, coloured wool & paper, hole punch

They’re so cute aren’t they?! Not only did this activity keep my girls occupied while making them but they also loved making a puppet show afterwards too.
