ANIMAL FAIR TABLESCAPE WITH YVONNE ELLEN
With the warmer weather on its way, here’s some spring-summer inspiration with this beautiful Animal Fair Tablescape sponsored by Yvonne Ellen. It’s full of beautiful animal illustrations, bright and cheery colours, fine bone china, a stunning DIY centrepiece and the most refreshing cocktail ever!
To say I’ve had a crush on Yvonne Ellen’s products is an understatement. I spied her stunning quirky homeware in John Lewis a while ago so to style and shoot her tableware was an absolute privilege and a dream come true.
I mean, who wouldn’t fall in love with her out of the ordinary tableware? It’s a breath of fresh air, perfect for wowing guests at dinner or tea parties, and guaranteed to get the table talking too.
This is one of my all time favourite jobs and I really hope you love it as much as I do!
What I adore about Yvonne’s designs is her combination of modern and vintage styles. Just look at how the animal illustration on the tea plate carries perfectly onto the dinner plate. Is that clever or what?!
Yvonne’s tableware is so stunning that it does the talking in any setting, so for styling I simply added a few animal friends, paper honeycombs and a DIY Grapefruit Vase Centrepiece to pick up the colours. You can get the full ‘how to’ here.
Sticking with the spring-summer vibe and coral hues I made Elderflower Aperol Spritz Cocktails to go in Yvonne’s incredible glasses and let me tell you, it’s like getting your summer holiday in a glass! You can get the delicious recipe here.
Yvonne also designs the most beautiful kitchenware, perfect for a cosy tea break. For any fellow candle-lovers you simply have to check out her Home Fragrance range too, plus i’ve also got my eyes on her Gin and Tonic cup and jug set!
