Decorating after the festive period can be a bit daunting can’t it…all the Christmas decorations are down and the home feels a bit bare, but we haven’t hit spring yet. So what do we do?

I’ve pulled together three tips for your decor post-Christmas to help make your home feel like a cosy sanctuary even after the tree has gone.

Add Soft Furnishings

Bringing new and additional textured soft furnishings is an easy yet extremely effective way to bring cosiness to your decor once the decorations have gone. Throws and cushions in a mix of fabrics adds layers to your scheme, bringing with it a feeling of warmth.

Our range will have your home feeling like a sanctuary in no time…

Introduce New Foliage

The Bloom Bar has grown tremendously here at and I think its popularity is due to the fact that by simply switching out foliage in vases, you can create a whole new look at a very low cost to work in harmony with the season and room scheme.

Pampas grass is a welcome change to winter greens, as are our boho bunches, bunny tail grasses and burgundy eucalyptus.

Update Your Accessories

Consider a new art print, a new vase to go with your foliage and maybe even some decorative objects for the coffee table or shelves to breathe some life into your home again. Just these small updates will make your space feel like an inviting sanctuary again after the festive decorations are down.
