STYLING A NEUTRAL SPRING TABLESCAPE

GLASS TEALIGHT HOLDERHere are some simple ways to create a spring tablescape by adding textures, a DIY twig centrepiece and beautiful runner that pulls the scheme together.

I’m a huge believer in using timeless versatile pieces that can be used all-year round and simply styled up according to the season or occasion.

This look is perfect for neutral scandi and modern farmhouse style lovers and would be beautiful for Mother’s Day, Easter or spring entertaining.

STYLING A NEUTRAL SPRING TABLESCAPE:

GROUND THE SCHEME

Our exquisite frayed edge linen runner really grounds this whole look and I just love how it creates movement, texture and effortless style. It acts as the perfect base for the rest of the accessories placed down the middle of the table.

PLACE SETTINGS

The matching frayed edge linen napkins, which I chose to use in a different colour, are casually draped across our whitewash wicker chargers and look stunning yet effortless with the boho napkin rings.

To give a sense of occasion I used our burlap cutlery pockets which I kept plain but can also be styled up using ribbon and seasonal items such as feathers, mistletoe or fresh herbs. The tone of the burlap-hessian coordinates beautifully with the twisted willow centrepiece (foraged locally) which is styled in our clear glass Daisy vase.

CREATING CONTRAST

In contrast to the textures and natural elements clear glass accessories bring a modern edge, such as the small and large bubble vases which I’ve kept minimal with stems of our raw bunny tails. The glass tealight holders on the runner and hanging glass tealight holders on the branches bring ambience and an opportunity to add touches of the season; I chose to add feathers in the hanging versions as a subtle nod to spring.

FAVOURS

If you’re hosting for an occasion it’s lovely to add extra special touches such as little gifts on place settings, such as our Mother’s Day and Easter Soy Wax Gift Candles. Guests really appreciate and remember these little details.

FINAL TOUCHES

Thinking beyond the table, some cushions from my collection are the final touch to pull the scheme together and I hope you love it as much as I do!

Another idea if you’ve got high back dining chairs is to tie ribbon and seasonal pieces from them.

Styling a neutral spring tablescape doesn’t have to be overcomplicated and can be made up of homeware that can be used all-year round. Just a few little touches such as the willow, feathers and gifts give a sense of the season which can be replaced at Christmas, Thankgiving and all other occasions.

All pieces used are from my unique chic homeware collection which is carefully curated from artisans and sources across the globe, aiming to bring decor to interior lovers that can’t be found on the high street.
