Spring on the horizon brings hope and the opportunity to breathe new life into your home. Read on to be inspired with Neutral Spring Styling Ideas for 2024.
As I’ve launched my Spring Collection I’m sharing some styling ideas using my unique timeless pieces that will refresh spaces after that post Christmas lull.
Florals
Whether it’s a single stem or en masse, faux flowers from our Bloom Bar or fresh flowers are a beautiful way to breathe life into your home. Styled in one of our jars from the Vintage Collection or perhaps a beige stoneware handled vase, they look gorgeous on a coffee table, kitchen island or shelf.
Alternatively, add long stems into a tote bag (we’ve used our Cosmos Stems) and hang from hooks or peg shelf in the hallway, pantry or bedroom.
Planters
Along the lines of florals, spring is a great time to update planters. If you’re not green fingered and don’t fancy risking it with real bulbs, our white faux hyacinth with bulb from the Bloom Bar is a great alternative! Surround with our fresh moss also from the Bloom Bar and seasonal pieces in a neutral ceramic planter for a breathtaking display that embraces the season.
Seasonal Ceramics
These white ceramic bunny ornaments from the Spring Collection are so popular, as are the adorable porcelain flower trinket bowls.
Create an interesting vignette by styling the different height white rabbit ornaments in a cluster on a tray or stack of books, or scatter down the centre of an Easter tablescape or use as place settings.
They make great gifts for Valentines, Mother’s Day and birthdays too!
Seasonal Glass
The glass egg and bunny storage jars as well as clear glass bunny cloche stands from my spring collection are super cute and are as gorgeous on their own as they are serving a practical purpose. Store with sweet treats for the kids, cotton buds in the bathroom, or tea bags in the kitchen!
Ground Pieces with Rattan and Marble
When using a neutral colour palette the key is to create interest by using a variety of tones and textures or the scheme can look a little ‘flat’, which is why I’m obsessed with the new grey veined round and square marble trays, plus grey rattan morning trays in my collection.
I’ve talked about it before, but by using a tray or stack of books to ground a collection of small items, it elevates the vignette and makes it look intentional rather than ‘plonked’.
Bows aren’t just for Christmas
The bow trend was STRONG this Christmas, but it doesn’t have to stop there! My frayed edge ribbons in French Grey, Mauve and Fawn from the Spring Collection bring personality and French flair to spring wreaths, bunny ornaments and candlesticks.
Neutral Spring Fabrics
I couldn’t leave this inspirational article on Neutral Spring Styling Ideas for 2024 without mentioning the adorable bunch of neutral fabric farmhouse carrots or Ditsy Daisy Tablecloth as well as vintage floral and block print cushion covers! They add personality and another dimension to your spring decor.
