KITCHEN STYLING WITH DECORATIVE FRUIT

KITCHEN STYLING WITH DECORATIVE FRUIT KITCHEN STYLING WITH DECORATIVE FRUIT

Sometimes the kitchen can seem a little sterile with lots of clean shiny surfaces and angular shapes, so if you’re looking to bring some personality to your space have you considered using the fruit trend to do this?!

If you’re a big fan of Dream Home Makeover on Netflix you’ve probably noticed that Shea McGee of McGee & Co uses fruit of some kind in most of her kitchen schemes. It’s like the classic fruit bowl, elevated!

Fruit ornaments and fruit artwork styled on a worktop or shelf are the perfect decorative accessory, which is why I’ve expanded my kitchen decor collection to include faux artichokes and figs plus fruit ornaments in grey concrete and mango wood, as well as some fruit themed artwork.

Styled in a bowl, jar or on a tray with a mix of materials and some layering, you can really easily create a charming corner which brings joy and personality to your space.

Plus you can take the opportunity to hide plug sockets under the cabinets too!

I hope you’ve been inspired by this post on kitchen styling with decorative fruit; if you create your own little area with fruit themed artwork or ornaments after seeing this do share in the comments below or tag me on Instagram!

Until next time,
