Tick tock, it’s fizz o’clock!
I’m pretty convinced that guests would be mightily impressed with your efforts if they walked into your next festive or New Year’s Eve bash and were given these adorable baubles in coupe glasses as their welcome drink. I know I would be 😉
This simple idea is massively up there as my fav DIY of the year and the possibilities with decoration and what you fill them with are endless!
You will need:
Thin washi tape(or you could glue ribbon)
To make our cocktail you will need:
Bottle of prosecco
To decorate the baubles I used gold washi tape around the top. I love the designs you can get and it’s also easily removable so I can use them again but with a different theme.
I then tied gold balloon ribbon to the loop at the top of the bauble and curled. Simples!
Just as simple was the rhubarb fizz cocktail where I basically used a Buck’s Fizz ratio but replaced the orange juice with rhubarb cordial. I made it in a jug first then poured it in gently through a funnel, replaced the bauble top and placed in a champagne coupe glass at an angle.
Lined up on a gold mirror tray they look pretty darn impressive don’t you think?
As well as the perfect welcome drink for a festive or New Year’s Eve bash, I would LOVE to see these at a winter wedding too.
I’m also going to fill some with milk for my children on Christmas Eve and place on tumblers topped with sprinkles since they loved my sprinkles topped cups last year. I can’t wait to see their little faces!
Aren’t they simply adorable?!
The bauble creates just the right amount to fill the champagne coupe glass. Phew!
