Summer has come to an end, the nights are drawing in and I for one am rather excited about what comes with it…candlelight, faux fur throws, the festive season and my unicorn onesie! And as much as it’s great to hibernate it’s also wonderful to socialise, so why not combine the two by having a cosy night in with your besties. And what better way to do this than with a Host Your Own Wine Night?

Invite your friends to bring a bottle, lay out your glasses, chuck in some salty snacks and you have yourself a social to remember.

If you’re worried about where to start, Oh So Kel and Talking Tables have got you covered with a free ‘It’s Wine O Clock!’ printable and a hosting kit which comes complete with wine guidance, hessian bottle bags, numbers, scoring sheets and wine related conversation starter cards.

Even props are supplied so you can crown the Wine Nerd or Sommelier in the group – a perfect photo opportunity!

I chose to keep the styling light and bright with a white tablecloth but a more rustic feel would work perfectly too. Think old country pub with wooden tables and roaring fires.

You could even put a candle in a glass vase then add wine corks throughout the evening for a perfectly themed centrepiece.

Thank you to Talking Tables for gifting the Host Your Own Wine Night set and accessories such as the star light and snowflake tea light holders, I can see it all coming back out over the festive period.

I hope you’ve been inspired to create your own Wine O Clock at home this winter. Staying in is the new going out as they say!

If you create something as a result of seeing this post please share with me on Instagram and use #OSKinspired as I’d love to see the results.

Until next time,
