Christmas really has come early to Oh So Kel HQ as I get to use the words Baylis & Harding, ‘DIY’ and ‘giveaway’ in one sentence. EEEEEK!
I’m literally bedside myself with excitement over here and since the festive season is all about giving and sharing, I’ve decided to do both in one go for this Boho Christmas with Baylis & Harding. Just call me Mrs Claus without the red velvet threads or husband with long white beard.
Not only have I teamed up with Baylis & Harding to create this super colourful festive boho bonanza which shows that your Christmas decor doesn’t have to be traditional, but we’re also running a giveaway on Instagram between 7pm on 21st November and 7pm on 28th November. You could win a bundle of their goodies (worth £100!) much like the super cute ones under my tree. UH-mazing right?! This could either tick off a fair amount of your Christmas list or give you months worth of pampering for yourself, we’re not here to judge.
AAAAAAND it wouldn’t be a true Oh So Kel post without a cheeky bit of DIY now would it? If you look closely under the tree you’ll notice some toy cars that have been given the Midas touch and they may or may not coincidentally match the vans full of Baylis & Harding goodies from their Special Delivery collection. Cute huh? Check out the DIY deets here.
The Van Shaped Treat Tins and two tier Mini Stack Gift Sets include deliciously indulgent products like Strawberry Buttercream Cupcake Body Wash and White Chocolate Cheesecake Body Lotion. It sounds like I’ve described a cake and let’s face it, they look sooooo cute you could eat them. The bonus here of course is that you get to indulge in a non-calorific way instead by taking two hour baths, perhaps with a glass of chilled Sauv Blanc in hand and deliciously smelling candles from the Baylis & Harding Fuzzy Duck range. My scent of choice would be the Gin & Tonic but I’d be pretty tempted by the Pink Gin Fizz too. I realise there’s a theme emerging here but it is the festive season after all so it’s time to celebrate with gusto!
Since we’re talking about celebration, doesn’t this boho theme scream festive fiesta?! It’s a great one for using things you already have around the house such as artificial flowers which are my best friends when it comes to styling and changing up the feel of a room. Using the colours in blocks to wind around the tree works really well I think, particularly with the honeycomb decorations and gold feathers popping out. If you have paper pom poms or tassels left over from a wedding or summer party, who’s to say you can’t bring them out over the festive season for a different twist? There are loads of llama, cactus and flamingo Christmas decorations around at the moment which work really well with this theme. I’ll be sharing a post on this soon so watch this space!
Thank you to Baylis & Harding for making Christmas come early in a big boho way, gifting the gorgeous goodies under my tree and inspiring the DIY Midas car ornaments.
Good luck if you enter the competition on Instagram and if you make your own car ornaments please do share and tag us as we’d love to see the results.
Happy Holidays!
Until next time,
OSK xx
My friends at Talking Tables supplied all of the paper decorations, thank you!
