It’s amazing what you can do with a craft punch, blank card and some patterned paper. You can literally let your imagination take hold and create endless, unique designs that can be designed with someone specific in mind. If they love music use vintage music sheets, if they’re girly and feminine use a pretty floral pattern, if they have a favourite colour use it!
Valentine’s Day is all about showing the one you love how much they mean to you, so what better way to do this than a card made from the heart instead with them in mind than a shop-bought one?
All you need is:
Start by thinking about what your design might look like and how it will reflect the person you’re giving it to, so you have a rough idea on how many hearts you need to cut and where they’ll be placed. Then cut away!
Use glue to fix the hearts in place. I use silicone glue which is specifically designed for paper crafts.
Once your hearts are fixed then you can get personalising, perhaps with a hand written message or you could use a stamp.
I hope this has inspired you to get creative and personalised this Valentine’s Day. If you want to spoil your loved one with home-cooked food check out my Sweet Potato & Parsnip Fries with Paprika & Rosemary. Or my Easy Banana & Almond Cake.
