DIY Pampas Grass Christmas Wreath
Yup, it’s pampas grass again, but I’ve really fallen in love with it so decided to introduce it into Christmas too! What do you think?!
I teamed up with Morrisons Home to create a pink and gold festive tablescape using their beautiful geometric crockery and gold cutlery and as you know by now, no post would be complete without some cheeky OSK DIY touches so for this one I used my fav material of the moment to make a DIY pampas grass Christmas wreath plus pampas and bauble place settings. I also made DIY drink stirrers by hanging baubles from canapés sticks to boot. The whole DIY took me less than half an hour and would be perfect for a unique Christmas Day tablescape; don’t you just love how unexpected the colours and textures are for the festive season?

You will need
A festive wreath
String or clear fishing wire
Bottlebrush sisal trees
This DIY is a quick and easy one, which is great when you have a long list of Christmas preparations to get through!
To make the wreath
Simply place the pampas grass where you want it, cut to size and fix using string (try to put the string slightly under the feathery bits of grass to hide it) – or clear fishing wire.
Next get your bottlebrush sisal trees and use the inbuilt wire in the wreath to wrap around the bases and hold in place.
Tie ribbon as desired and hang up. Simples!
To make the place settings
Take small strands of the feathery part of the pampas and tie in bunches, leaving enough length of string to attach a bauble. Fix a name tag at the same time for a personalised option.
Bam, you’re done!
