DIY Geometric Abstract Art
When putting together the final touches of our Safari Chic Dotty Guest Room I really wanted some geometric abstract art for the walls but I wasn’t loving the price to buy it so decided to make my own DIY Geometric Abstract Art.
Here I’m showing you how I did it for the #WayfairDIY series as one of their ‘Home Experts’. Think interior hacks, upcycling and handy DIY segments, specifically designed to help you transform your home without the hefty costs. This series has my name all over it! I mean come on, who doesn’t love to save the pennies AND get the satisfaction of making something awesome yourself?!
This is quite possibly the cheapest and quickest DIY ever…
Picture frames (I already had these)
Coloured paper (or scrap paper/pages from magazines)
Glue or double sided sticky tape
10 minutes of your time!
Simply cut your paper into random shapes (if you’re struggling you can either take inspiration from mine or online), lay them out on the plain paper until you’re happy with the composition, fix to the paper with either glue or double sided sticky tape and frame!
That’s it! I think it’s taken me longer to create this blog post than it did to actually create the geometric abstract art in the first place, ha ha!
