DIY COCKTAIL STICK DRINK STIRRERS

Photography: Kelly Harmer

When Silver Swift Drinks sent us a selection of their 100% natural spirited spritzers I got rather excited, not

only because I love the sentiment behind their brand and the flavour combinations they’ve used but because I’ve wanted to make some drinks stirrers for a while, so what better opportunity?!

Even better that this DIY took me less than five minutes so I could get to the extremely important job of tasting these drinks as soon as possible. All in the name of business you understand…

All you need is:

Card

Paper cutter (or you could cut shapes yourself)

Double-sided tape

Cocktail sticks

Simply cut the required shapes in card, making two for each stirrer.

Apply double-sided tape to the inside of the shapes.

Fix the two shapes to each other, ensuring the cocktail stick is correctly placed between the two.

Enjoy with a delicious drink!

The stirrers act as great drinks markers, either by putting initials on the card or by making different colours for each guest.

Served ice cold alongside truffles on my DIY Gold Edged Serving Platter this was a pretty perfect evening I’m not going to lie! Even better when both the drinks and treats are indulgent and delicious yet gluten free and vegan friendly. An evening that consists of a tipple and truffles? Ummmmmm, yes please!

The drinks come pre-mixed so the taste will always be as intended and I have to say I’ve fallen in love with the delicious and delicate Wild Rose Gin flavour. Served perfectly with fresh raspberries, a pretty rose petal and of course our drink stirrer, what’s not to love?

Thank you to Silver Swift Drinks for gifting us with their gorgeous products as it gave us the opportunity to create these pretty cocktail stirrers and enjoy an evening of guilt-free indulgence!
