DIY AQUARIUM KIDS’ CRAFT
There’s something rather satisfying about a craft that involves every day items and knowing you’re recycling at the same time. We used paper plates left over from a party to make our DIY Aquarium Kids’ Craft for one of our live craft sessions on my Facebook page.
YOU WILL NEED:
- 2 paper plates
- Sandwich bag (or cling film)
- Paper or card (can be patterned/wrapping paper)
- Colouring pens
- Glue (we’ll use PVA)
- Cellotape
- Scissors
- Optional decorations (blue paper or paint, googly eyes, shells, sequins, sand, pipe cleaners)
If you love under the sea themes in your family, Emmie and Isla had a Joint DIY Mermaid Party for their birthdays a few years ago which featured in Kara’s Party Ideas, complete with beach bucket picnics, DIY lantern jellyfish, DIY Tulle Table Skirt and a fishy sweet table. You’re welcome to check out all the deets and DIYs here.
Please share your own creations by tagging @ohsokel on Facebook or Instagram as we’d love to see them!
Until next time,
